- Everyone has their own unique views on morals and ethics in the world. In other words, people tend to think differently about what is a good decision and what decisions aren’t so good. reading and writing literature influences the decisions people make in many ways. For example, when reading and writing any piece of literature, people will notice that every piece of literature must have a plot. The plot of a piece is wrapped around the causes and effects of a conflict in the character(s) life. During the conflict, the characters in the story will struggle repeatedly until finding the solution to their problem. This is the same in the real world except the “plot” of a person is their life and there will be much more conflicts than there is in a story. By reading and writing literature, people are able to express and learn new ideas. These ideas will impact the way that they think and thus, will influence them before they make a decision because they want to stick to their new morals. This will make it so that people make much more good decisions than bad.
2c. Everyone has their own ideas of values. In other words, people have their own beliefs on how to behave in certain situations and conflicts. Interactions and conflicts with other people often change people’s ideas and values. For example, everyone has interactions or conflicts with other people. If a person was to have a conflict with another person and their values and ideas didn’t help them get past the problem, the person would have to adapt their ideas if they want to be “successful” in future conflicts. Another example would be if a person was to interact with another person, they might talk about their ideas and values which could cause both of them to adapt their ideas and make them better.
